Our power lies in neighborhood participation.
Together we will work as a united neighborhood to preserve,
protect, and beautify our unique and distinctive area.
We are very proud of our historic, tree-canopied, neighborhood, which showcases the work of famous local architects and many classic styles dating back well into the 1800's. With the 1978 designation of the Linwood Historic Preservation District by the City of Buffalo (see our history tab), residents have banded together to help nurture and protect this unique community, and the Linwood Preservation District and Friends was born.

Membership in our association participate in our social events, collaborate in our group activities, plus those who live within our bylaw boundaries have full voting rights.
If you reside or own property or run a business on Linwood Avenue or adjoining streets, we welcome your membership in our block association. To join, please complete and mail the membership form (pdf) to Box 176, Buffalo, NY 14209 or just bring it to our next meeting!
Annual Dues: Family ($25); Business ($40); Renter ($15)
We would happily accept any additional funds you might wish to contribute to our vision. (Please be advised: we are not tax-exempt.)
