Check out Matt Sliwinski's Lost Linwood Avenue of Buffalo, NY. He blogs a series of pictures from the 1940's of houses that have since been demolished. Quite sad to consider the loss to our street! Nice work Matt!

At the last meeting, Ramona Whitaker gave her annual "State of the Association" summary. This document is now on our website's Overiew tab in the Documents section.

We had further discussions with Bill Parke and Keith Lukas from the Office of Strategic Planning and they were very receptive to our request to have Linwood Ave entirely classified as a more protected *residential* place type.
(The fall draft had most of it below Utica the same as Delaware Ave, a very mixed neighborhood conducive to mulkti-story commercial development...)

Jeff Carballada is our rep to their community advisory panel and provided an update on Kaleida's re-use plans. His report, as well as the Urban land Institutes original report, are on our Strategic tab, on the Gates Circle Hospital page.

Make our community less of a target. Don't leave ANY valuables in our cars. Keeping ALL ground floor windows & doors secure.
