Recent Crime Activity in the Linwood Area

There have been recent thefts from garage and storage sheds, indicating that our neighborhood may be a target. Taken have been items such as tools, a bicycle and even a snowblower.

Make sure you keep garages and sheds locked at night, secured with a heavy-duty padlock. And keep your premises well lighted: turn on porch and side lights and consider the installation of motion-detector…

City schedules bulk trash collection & tire drop-offs

Fall 2014 Bulk Trash Collection is scheduled for the Ellicott district is August 3rd.

Trash is to be put out on the Sunday prior to pick up. Each property is limited to a pile that is 12 feet long, 3 feet high and 3 feet wide. Excessive amounts of trash are subject to a fine.

NO ELECTRONICS should EVER be placed in regular trash any more…

Welcome Clean Air Coalition to our neighborhood

We have new neighbors.  The grass roots organization Clean Air Coalition of WNY has moved its headquarters into 52 Linwood Ave.  This Monday, July 28th, they are having an open house and potluck from 4-6 pm.  If you can take a few minutes on your commute home, drop by and say hello.
